www.infocusheritage.ca got its start as a way for me to promote myself as an independent historical researcher with a special interest in photography. Since I headed back to university to get a Master in Archival Studies and even more so since I got a position as an archivist this site has been for all intensive purposes dead space. As of October 15, 2006 the goal is to change that!
IHR at infocusheritage will become a portal to resources that discuss or present photography in terms of its historical import and document where photography is going in a digital age. This site will look at photography not only as an illustrative device but also as a source of information and knowledge in its own right.
